DAY ONE- Granada Arrival
Evening arrival in Managua’s International Airport. Greeting by Nicaraguita Language School Staff in airport lobby.
Transfer to Granada where you’ll meet the Program Director as you’re introduced to your host families.
Granada is a picturesque colonial city that was founded in 1524 by Captain Francisco Hernandez de Cordoba.
Granada is situated next to the Mombacho volcano and sits on the shores of Lake Cocibolca, with over 300 “isletas.”
MIDDLE CLASS HOST FAMILIES are usually relatives, neighbors, or lifelong friends of our homestay directors. Regardless, directors monitor and continually evaluate host families.
Host families provide all meals - except those incorporated in the touring.
Everyone speaks Spanish in the home. Students normally share with one other group member of the same general language ability.
